The funeral for Wayne Anderson, Wishek, ND will be Friday, August 29, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Wishek, ND. Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Wishek, ND.
Wayne Anderson was born July 16, 1951 in Bismarck to James and Irene Anderson. Wayne graduated from Wishek High School in 1969. He enlisted in the United States Army June 26, 1969 and was honorably discharged December 24, 1971. He was united in marriage to Juanita Scherr on February 3, 1973 and to this union they had three children. He loved horses. He did team roping for many years and also worked with and eventually owned race horses.
Wayne died Saturday, August 23, 2014 at St. Alexius Medical Center in Bismarck, ND. He was 63 years old.
He is survived by 3 children, Robert and his wife Angie and their kids Paige and Carter, Steele, ND; Logan and his wife tonya and their daughters Taylor and Haylie, Bismarck, ND; Misty and her husband Jason Iszler and their sons, Connor and Ashton, Dawson, ND; Six brothers and sisters: Sharon and Robert Pool, Kareen and Bill Nicol, Zoe and Dale Burns, Wanda and Craig, James and Beverly, and Gene and many nieces and nephews.
