The funeral for Viola Brunner, Napoleon, ND will be Friday, March 18, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church at Napoleon, ND at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be Thursday 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Napoleon, ND. Burial will be at the Napoleon City Cemetery.
Viola Franz daughter of Albert and Johanna (Lang) Franz was born September 23, 1931 at Napoleon, ND. She grew up and attended school in Napoleon, ND. Viola married Harry E. Brunner April 6, 1951 at Napoleon, ND. She worked as a waitress in the local café's. Viola was a member of the St. Matthews Lutheran Church and the Golden Age Club.
Viola died Saturday, March 12, 2016 at St. Alexius Medical Center, Bismarck, ND. She was 84 years old.
Viola is survived by two sons, Harlan (Helen) Brunner and Wayne (Janis) Brunner, both of Bismarck, ND; four daughters, Evon Fernandez, Sea-Tac, WA; Coleen Tallman, Mandan, ND; Sandra (Walter) Wisham, Lincoln, ND and Linda Brunner, Bismarck, ND; 21 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Darlene Franz, Tacoma, WA, Judy (Jim) Toomey, Snohomish, WA; three brothers, Arthur Franz, San Antonio, TX, Donald (Pat) Franz, Buckley, WA, Jim (Lisa) Franz, Seattle, WA. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry, granddaughter Stephanie Watts, great-grandson Kingston Fowler, parents, sons-in-law William Tallman and Carlos Fernandez, two brothers Alvin and Harold, sister-in-law, Toshika Franz.
