Timothy J.
Wagner
Mar 13, 1957 — Nov 27, 2020
Wishek
Timothy Wagner, 63, of Wishek, passed away Friday, November 27, 2020, at Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, ND. Private Family Services will be held on Friday, December 4, 2020, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Wishek. Burial will be at St. Patrick's Cemetery.
Timothy Jon Wagner was born on March 13th, 1957 to Benjamin and Lillian (Trautman) Wagner in Ellendale, ND. Tim was the baby of six children, always joking that his parents finally found perfection with him. Tim grew up, attended school, and graduated from Ellendale High School in 1975. His mentor, Dr. Dunn developed Tim's love of animals at a young age, as Tim assisted at his veterinary clinic while growing up. He followed his love of animals to a vocational college, earning a degree in Farrier Science. He and his first wife were blessed with two sons, Tyler and Dustin. The year 1991 brought Tim to Wishek, where he resided until his death. Tim married Jeanine (Mueller) in 1992, gaining two step-children, Angie and Wayne. Tim worked 30+ years as a grain elevator attendant. In 2018, Tim retired from his years of elevator service when he and Jeanine bought into Beaver Valley Diesel.
Tim's idea of leisure was caring for his many dogs, boxers, Rottweiler's, mini-heelers, pugs and Boston terriers. If he could have had a hundred dogs, he would have. Tim enjoyed traveling the local country-side with his wife and eating at neighboring communities. He could always be counted on for a joke and a helping hand; all the while walking through life, whistling an old country tune with a coffee mug in his hand. On October 27th, 2020 Tim was transferred to Fargo, ND for acute care for Covid-19. On November, 8th he was placed on advanced life support, where he remained until he lost his battle on November 27th, surrounded in love by his wife and two sons.
Tim is survived by his wife, Jeanine Wagner (Mueller); two sons, Tyler (Mayensi) and Dustin (Teresa); step-daughter, Angie (Jeremy); daughter-in-law, Erin Halverson; two granddaughters; and five grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Bonita; brother, Harley, and step-son, Wayne.
