Timothy Earl Overseth, 58, of Wishek, died peacefully with his wife at his side on Wednesday July 22, 2020 after contracting the Covid-19 virus and complications from his illness with diabetes. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, July 27, 2020 at Faith Community Church, Wishek, ND.

Tim was born January 12, 1962 to Robert Eugene Overseth and Nettie Mae (Krein) Overseth in Mobridge, South Dakota. He was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mobridge, attended school, and graduated from Mobridge High School in 1980. After graduating from High School Tim Moved to Arizona to seek employment. He returned to Mobridge later and worked at various Jobs in the Aberdeen and Mobridge area. He married Elisa Weber and to their union they welcomed three children. Nathan, Haleigh and Aysha. Tim Married Cindy Hochhalter of Wishek, North Dakota in 2007 and they established a home in Herreid and ultimately in Wishek, North Dakota. Tim became the stepdad to Cindy's children and grandfather to her grandchildren. Tim has always been fond of animals and had many pets including guinea pigs, birds, dogs, snakes, a duck, a pig, a lizard, and a few stray cats.

Tim was involved in restaurant ownership and management, he owned a grocery store in Herreid, South Dakota and worked as a salesperson for a restaurant supply company. He has been a diabetic for over 40 years and the complications from that disease contributed to his failing health. Tim was enormously proud of his children and did what he could to encourage them in life.

Thankful for having shared his life is his wife Cindy, children Nathan of Spearfish, South Dakota, Haleigh Overseth of Brandon, South Dakota and Aysha Overseth of Brandon, South Dakota, stepchildren Dale ( Katie ) Sayler and their children Dillan, Aubriana, Dominic, and Zoey of  Fargo, ND , Shelly (Travis ) Glaesman and their children Carson, Carter, and Alayna of Lehr, North Dakota, Jason Hochhalter of  Fargo, ND , Jonathan Hochhalter of Fargo, ND, Mother Nettie Overseth of Wishek, North Dakota, Brothers Harley (Carrie) Overseth of Mobridge, South Dakota, Terry (Deb) Overseth of Yankton South Dakota, Sister Pam (Greg) Hare of Rapid City South Dakota and several nieces and nephews.

Tim was preceded in death by his dad Robert (Bob) Overseth.

The family wishes to let people know the Covid-19 virus is not a joke, punchline or political conspiracy and want you to take the precautions seriously.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes that memorials be given to Pets and Stuff in Mobridge or your local humane Society in honor of Tim.
