Timothy Feist, 70, of Zeeland, ND, passed away Friday, December 4, 2020 at Miller Pointe Care Center, Mandan, ND. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at 2:00 pm at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Hague, ND. Burial will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery, Hague. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 from 5-7 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Wishek, ND.
Tim was born March 28, 1950 in Linton, ND, to Adam J. and Kathryn (Hulm) Feist. He grew up on the family farm NE of Hague and attended school in Hague, graduating in 1970.
Tim farmed and ranched his entire life in the Zeeland/Hague area. He worked hard throughout his lifetime; but managed to make time for some fun. He enjoyed socializing with his many friends and family at the local water hole. Attending PBR Rodeos, Big Iron, and KFYR AG Days were some of his favorite pastimes. Visiting the John Deere Factory with friends was a trip Tim enjoyed, as he constantly talked about the great time he had there. He enjoyed riding horses and attending the Trail Rides in the community. Tim enjoyed spending his days outside, watching the little calves that were being born, baling, mending fences, having a piece of fresh-baked sweets, and going out to eat when he was in Bismarck for the day. He always had a smile for anyone who stopped by to visit. He was also involved in the Lion's Club in Zeeland. Tim was a very devoted member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hague, North Dakota.
Tim is survived by three brothers and three sisters. Sally (Peter) Meier Zeeland ND, Daniel Bismarck, ND, Richard (Sandy) Linton, ND, Susan (Dean) Eberle Bismarck, ND, Cindy Welk Bismarck, ND, Alan (Kathryn) Mandan, ND, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Adam J. and Kathryn Feist; grandparents, Joseph and Malonia Feist and Franz and Barbara Hulm; and brother-in-law, Duane Welk.
The family thanks the staff at Miller Pointe for their loving and kind care and the care he received at Sanford Medical Center. In lieu of memorials, Tim's family prefers your loving thoughts and prayers or a donation to St. Mary's Catholic Church, Hague, ND.
