The funeral for Thomas W. Fischer, Napoleon, ND will be Thursday, May 30, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Napoleon, ND. Burial will be at the Napoleon City Cemetery, Napoleon, ND.


Thomas Fischer son of Einar and Mae (Gallagher) Fischer was born June 25, 1927 at Dodge, ND. He grew up and attended school at Dodge, ND. After his schooling he worked on various farms. Thomas was drafted into the US Army serving during the Korean Conflict. After his service time he worked on the Garrison Dam. He moved to northern Minnesota where he worked as a logger. Thomas then moved to Gillette, WY for a short period of time and the moved to Elko, NV where he worked for Newmont Mining. Thomas then moved to Wabash, IN before moving to Napoleon in 2007.


Thomas died Thursday, May 23, 2013 at his home. He was 85 years old.

Thomas is survived by one brother, Jim Fischer, Napoleon, ND; two nephews, Jerry (Deb) Fischer, Bondurant, IA and Robert (Brenda) Fischer, Napoleon, ND; one niece, Judy Robinette, Napoleon, ND.
