Thomas Alan Fiechtner, 56, of Lehr, ND, passed away January 12, 2024, at his home.

Tom was born in Ashley, ND, on August 30, 1967, to Russell and Delores (Erbele) Fiechtner.  He spent his youth on the family farm north of Lehr, ND, and graduated from Lehr High School in 1985.  He loved playing basketball and was awarded MVP.

After high school Tom moved to Fargo, attended NDSU and worked at selling steel for many years.  He currently lived at the family farm and worked for construction companies.

His greatest love was hunting and fishing at which he excelled.  Venison sausage, smoked jerky and lakeside cleaned fish were his specialties.  One of his many interests was the design and manufacture of intricate rings made from deer antlers.

Tom is survived by his parents, Russell and Delores, sisters Deb (Rodney) Krueger and Joan (Glenn) Burkle, brother Robert and cousins, aunts, nephews and many friends.
