Obituary

Theresia Doll-Silbernagel, 85 of Napoleon, ND, died February 8, 2025, at Eventide, Jamestown. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, February 13, 2025, at 10:30 AM at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Napoleon. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 12, 2025, from 6:00 – 7:00 PM with a Rosary/Vigil Service at 7:00 PM at Feist Funeral Home, Napoleon. Burial will take place at St. Philip Neri Cemetery in the spring. A Livestream of Theresia's funeral service will be available on the St. Philip Neri Napoleon You Tube and Facebook Page.

Theresia was born October 25, 1939, in Bismarck, ND to Anton and Elizabeth (Feist) Schmidt. She was raised on a farm southwest of Napoleon and attended country school in the St. Boniface area. She married John Doll on September 2, 1957, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Kintyre. Together they farmed on the Doll family farm until retiring in 2006 when they then moved into Napoleon. Theresia also worked for Logan County Social Services for 25 years. John passed away in 2011. Theresia then married Clemens Silbernagel in 2017.

Theresia was a past member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, where she taught Sunday School for several years and was a member of the Altar Society. She was currently a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, where she was also a member of the Altar Society.

She enjoyed playing softball in her younger years, cooking, dancing, caring for her farm cats and playing pinocle. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Theresia is survived by her husband Clemens Silbernagel, Napoleon; four sons; Duane (Gail) Doll, Jamestown, ND; Marvin (Karen) Doll, Elgin, ND; Jim (Viann) Doll, Bismarck, ND; Paul (Sherri) Doll, Hazen, ND; two daughters, Karen (Les) Christensen, Wishek, ND; Sharon (Ben) Jacob, Cooperstown, ND; 19 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; one brother, Leo Schmidt, Hazelton; two sisters-in-law, Helen Schmidt, Napoleon and Millie Schmidt, Bismarck.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Doll; two grandchildren, Robert and Erin Christensen; five brothers, John, Pete, Pius, Ray and Val Schmidt; and two sisters, Frances and Julia.
