Theresia Welder, daughter of Anton and Rosina (Feist) Welder was born on May 7th, 1923 and raised on a farm southwest of Napoleon in the St. Anthony area. She was educated at St. Anthony's in Logan County. Theresia married Anton (Tony) Doll at the St. Anthony church on November 9th, 1948. Theresia and Anton farmed on several different farms until they purchased their current farm while raising 4 children. Theresia had many different hobbies she enjoyed such as; gardening, reading and sewing quilts. Theresia was an excellent cook and baker; she would love to try new recipes baking her outstanding cookies, kuchen and especially canning her amazing pickles. She never wanted her family to leave her home hungry. She loved when her children and grandchildren would come and visit her. Her famous phrase to say, when everyone would be preparing to say their goodbyes with hugs, would be "come again soon". Theresia had a wonderful sense of humor she always kept us smiling and laughing. Theresia was a devoted Catholic who spent her time praying the rosary and attending church.
