Terry Sayler, 69, of Wishek, ND, passed away January 29, 2022 at St. Alexius Medical Center, Bismarck, ND. A private family funeral service will be held at Faith Community Church, Wishek on Tuesday, February 1 ^st . Public visitation will be held on Monday January 31 ^st from 4-7 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Wishek. Burial will be held at New Kassel Cemetery, Zeeland, ND. Terry Ray Sayler was born November 18, 1952 at St. Alexius Hospital in Bismarck to John J. and Lillian R. (Schwind) Sayler. He was raised on a farm west of Wishek and attended country school just down the road from the farm until the third grade. From there he went on to attend Wishek Public School where he graduated in 1970. After high school Terry remained on the farm working alongside his dad. He joined the North Dakota National Guard where he served for six years until being honorably discharged. Terry married Georgine Bubach on October 15, 1977 at Trinity Lutheran Church in rural Litchville, ND. They settled on the Sayler family farm west of Wishek, where they farmed and ranched all their married life.

Terry enjoyed spending time with family, watching the Minnesota Twins and Vikings and most of all his passion for farming.

He was a member of Faith Community Church, where he served on the church council in the past and was a member of the Wishek American Legion.

Terry is survived by his wife, Georgine Sayler, Wishek; daughters, Tanya (Kevin) Erickson, West Fargo and Teresa Sayler (Jason Magstadt), West Fargo; grandchildren, Hadyn and Ashton Erickson; mother, Lillian Sayler, Wishek; sisters, Sharron (Ron) Meidinger, Ashley; Tammie (Daniel) Schumacher, Mandan and Tracie (Dave) Zetocha, Oakes; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, John J. Sayler and his niece, Amanda Drilling.
