The funeral for Tabitha Kranzler, Lehr, ND will be Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at 10:30 AM at the Ebenezer Baptist Church at Lehr, ND. Visitation will be held Monday, July 26, 2010 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Wishek, ND. Burial will be at the Lehr City Cemetery, Lehr, ND.


Tabitha George, daughter of Fred F. and Katharina (Hausauer) George was born January 27, 1916 at Lehr, ND. Tabitha was baptized June 16, 1932. She grew up and attended rural school in the Lehr area working at home until her marriage. Tabitha married Theodore Kranzler on June 27, 1937 at the home of her parents at Lehr, ND. They farmed in the Lehr area and in 1968 they moved into Lehr. Tabitha worked at the Lehr Café and the Lehr School as a cook and also cleaned houses. Tabitha was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church and the WM Fellowship at Lehr. She also was a member of the Royal Homemakers, Lehr Senior Citizens and Hobby Club.


Tabitha passed away Friday, July 23, 2010 at the Wishek Home for the Aged, Wishek, ND. She was 94 years old.

Tabitha is survived by two sons, James (Ardella) Kranzler, Lehr, ND and Don (Sandy) Kranzler, Oakes, ND; six grandchildren; 15 great- grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband Ted, who passed away April 11, 1999, her parents, four brothers, three sisters and one grandchild.
