The funeral for Ruby Werth, Wishek, ND formerly of Lehr, ND will be Monday, October 29, 2018 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church at Lehr, ND at 1:30 pm.  Visitation will be held Sunday from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at Dahlstrom Funeral Home in Wishek, ND.  Burial will be the Lehr City Cemetery, Lehr ND.

Ruby was born July 2, 1923 to John H. and Rosina (Kranzler) Miller in the Streeter "flat" area Streeter, ND.  She attended rural school thru the 8 ^th grade which was 2 ½ miles from home.  John died at the age of 40 leaving Ruby's mother with seven children to raise. Because of the Depression and the death of her father she was unable to further her education but rather gave a helping hand to her Mother on the farm along with the rest of her brothers and sisters. Ruby married Art Werth of Lehr, ND on November 24, 1943.  They made their home on a farm 5 ½ miles SW of Lehr.  To this union two children were born, Shirley and Ricky.

They bought Arts folks farm and farmed there for 57 years.  Ruby was a Leader of Children's Division, a Dorcas leader and Vacation Bible School leader.   Ruby and Art are members of the SDA Church at Lehr, ND. They traveled in the United States and Puerto Rico.  Ruby enjoyed gardening as it was her favorite job on the farm.

Ruby died Thursday October 25, 2018 at the Wishek Community Hospital, Wishek, ND. She was 95 years old.

Ruby is survived by her husband, Art Werth, Wishek, ND; her son, Rick (Linda) Werth, and her daughter, Shirley Binger, Aberdeen, SD; three grandchildren, Kirby (Kari) Kiesz, Lindsay (Jason) Pastana and Ashley Werth, her brother, Jehu (Delores) Miller, two great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.  She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Lydia and Ellen, four brothers, Reinhold, Harold, Herbert and Walter.
