The funeral for Ruben Eiseman, Wishek, ND will be Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the United Church of Christ Church at Wishek, ND. Visitation will be Friday from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Wishek, ND. Burial will be at the Wishek City Cemetery, Wishek, ND.

Ruben son of Gottlieb and Magdalina (Nelich) Eiseman was born March 26, 1928 at Burnstad, ND. He grew up and attended rural school in the rural Burnstad area. Ruben worked on the family farm. He entered the US Army and served in the Korean Conflict. After his military service he returned to the Wishek area where he drove truck and worked as a concrete finisher. In 1963 Ruben started Eiseman Excavating and in 1977 his son, Rodney joined him in the business. Ruben was a member of the United Church of Christ and the Wishek American Legion.

Ruben died Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at St. Alexius Medical Center, Bismarck, ND. He was 85 years old.

Ruben is survived by his wife, Wilma, Wishek, ND; one son, Rodney (Polly) Eiseman, Wishek, ND; one daughter, Karen (Willy) Schilling, Harvey, ND; six grandchildren, Nick, Matt, Ross, Danielle, Chris and Elle; two great-grandchildren, Mayson and Isabella.
