The funeral for Rose Heyne, Wishek, ND will be held Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 11:00 am at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Wishek, ND. Visitation will be Friday from 1:00 to 5:00 at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Wishek, ND. Burial will be at St. Luke Lutheran Cemetery, Wishek, ND

Rose Meidinger, daughter of Ferdinand and Dorothea (Rudolf) Meidinger was born August 16, 1919 on the family farm. She grew up on the family farm 8 miles west of Wishek, ND and attended rural School Salem No.2. Rose married Ephraim Heyne, son of Jacob and Charlotte (Wacker) Heyne on November 5, 1939 at St. James Lutheran Church rural Wishek, ND. They are the parents of one daughter, Marlyne. They lived and farmed in the Wishek area and were members of St. Luke Lutheran Church of Wishek. In 1961 they moved into their home at Wishek. Epraim passed away April 17, 1981. Rose continued to live in their home until she moved to the Wishek Living Center.

Rose died Monday, January 15, 2018 at the Wishek Living Center, Wishek, ND. She was 98 years old.

Rose is survived by her grandson Kurtis Jahn, Sacramento, CA; one great-grandson, Dillion Jahn, Sacramento, CA; one sister, Wilma Speidel, Bismarck, ND; four brothers, Roy Meidinger, Wishek, ND; William Meidinger Ashley, ND; Joe Meidinger Wishek, ND and Walter R. (Marveline) Meidinger, Wishek, ND. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ephraim, one daughter, Marlyne, son-in-law, Cecil Jahn, her parents, Ferdinand and Doreatha, two sisters, Clara and Ruth, seven brothers, Richard, Oscar, Art, Tom and three infant brothers.
