The funeral for Roger Kinzler, 70, Kulm, ND will be Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Zion Lutheran Church at Kulm, ND. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Kulm, ND. Burial will be at Hillside Lutheran Cemetery, Kulm, ND.

Roger Gerald Kinzler was born May 1, 1944 in McIntosh County, ND to Conrad and Loretta (Fregien) Kinzler. He attended Kulm High School after which he enlisted in the Army in 1963. Roger was honorably discharged in 1965. Roger married Vangeline Quashnick on November 4, 1967 in Kulm, ND. They made their home 3 miles west of Kulm, ND. He worked for the Brost Bros. and Gackle Bros. Roger started and operated a dairy farm for 30 years. He then went to work for Gahner Sanitation and Titan Machinery in Kulm. Roger retired from work in 2009. He loved working in the yard and fishing.

Roger died Friday, August 22, 2014 at the Wishek Living Center, Wishek, ND. He was 70 years old.

Roger is survived by his wife, Vangeline, Kulm, ND; three children, Rodney (Geri) Kinzler, Kulm, ND; Russell Kinzler, Riverdale, ND and RoxAne (Vernon Jr.) Swartz, Edgeley, ND; five grandchildren, Mikel Hastings, Emily and Braeden Kinzler, Noah and Courtney Swartz; his brother, Ronnie (Arva Dell) Kinzler, two aunts, Martha (Sis) Dahl, Bismarck, ND, Mae Wendlend, NV and many nieces and nephews.
