Service will be held at Dahlstrom Funeral Home in Napoleon at 10:30 am on Saturday, November 12. Lunch will follow at Trinity Lutheran Church.
Brother, uncle, and the neighborhood phone buddy was needed elsewhere. On November 8, Robert "Rupert" Liversage passed at his home in Emmons County.
His parents, Gavin and Gertrude (Laine) Liversage, were thrilled to have a baby boy on December 13, 1946. After graduating from Napoleon High School in 1964, he returned to the family farm. There he dug the dirt and watched for rain. Six years ago he began renting out his land and thereafter life was a lot easier. He found time for trips to the lake to visit Kay's family for a quick game of pinochle and even enjoyed a short trip to the Twin Cities.
Left to miss this self-proclaimed "Sanford" are his sister Kay Koch, niece Nancy Koch Durow (Steven), nephew Robert Koch (Lonna). Kay's three grandchildren, Alex and Emily Durow and Isabel Koch, will certainly miss his teasing, water gun assaults and the Mountain Dew and Doritos that were always on his menu.
