Richard Werlinger, 68, of Las Vegas, NV formerly of Zeeland, ND, died July 24, 2024 at Sandford Health, Bismarck, ND. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Zeeland. Visitation will be held two hours prior to service, starting at 9:00 AM at the church. Burial will take place at St. John's Cemetery, Zeeland. A recording of Richard's funeral service will be available on the funeral home website.

Richard was born July 31, 1955 in Linton, ND to Ted and Leona (Senger) Werlinger. He was raised on a farm northwest of Zeeland and attended school in Zeeland. He graduated from Zeeland High School in 1975. He went on to attend Bismarck Junior College, where he received his welding certificate. He started his welding career working for Welk Steel in Mandan, ND and eventually went to work at Coteau Coal Mine in Buelah, ND as a welder. Following that he worked for Cass Clay in Fargo, ND for several years. He then moved to Las Vegas, NV, where he worked for Mariott Company selling time shares for the past 20 plus years.

Richard enjoyed riding motorcycle, visiting with friends and neighbors and meeting new people everywhere he went. Most of all he loved visiting and spending time with his family.

Richard is survived by his special friend, Helen Reigle, Las Vegas, NV; three daughters, Bobbi Jo (Travis) Toepke, Mandan, ND, Dasie Werlinger, Denver, CO and Nicole Burt, Hillsboro, ND; one son, Tyler (Samantha) Werlinger, Watertown, SD; five grandchildren, Aaron, Ryan, Bailey, Kenlee and Kashton; one sister, Betty Weigand, Bismarck; four brothers, Jerome (Helen) Werlinger, Bismarck, Frank (Sheila) Werlinger, Zeeland, Robert (Helen) Werlinger, Bismarck and Jerry (Shirley) Werlinger, Foly, MN; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Leona Werlinger.
