The memorial service for Reuben Ziegenhagel, Wishek, ND will be Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Wishek, ND. Burial will be at the Lehr City Cemetery, Lehr, ND.

Reuben, son of John G. and Katherina (Koepplin) Ziegenhagel was born April 15, 1922 at Bismarck, ND. He grew up on the family farm 5 miles north of Lehr, ND. Reuben married Agnes Becker November 23, 1953. She passed away September 7, 1979. Reuben married Ellen Ritter February 7, 1981. Reuben was a farmer, was in the CCC's in South Dakota and worked for Bauer Trucking, Goebel Implement, and Logan County.


Reuben died Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at the Wishek Living Center, Wishek, ND. He was 91 years old.

Reuben is survived by his wife, Ellen, Wishek, ND; two sisters-in-law, Florence Ziegenhagel and Alda Becker; sons, John (Pat) Ritter, Plymouth, MN; Charles Ritter, Brooklyn Center, MN; Mark (Eileen) Ritter, Stacey, MN; Craig (Barb) Ritter, Aberdeen, SD; Brent Murray, Dickinson, ND and Mark (Marlene) Murray, Northfield, MN; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; special friends, Christina and Roni Rodriguez and daughters Jennifer and Jocelyn. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Katherina, two brothers, Albert and Walter, three sisters, Alice Bollinger, Hulda Schnabel and Lorraine Baltzer.
