The funeral for Reuben Dittus, Fargo, ND formerly of Kulm, ND will be Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 1:30 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home at Kulm, ND. Burial will be at the Nazareth Congregational Cemetery, Fredonia, ND.

Reuben, son of Gottfried and Clara (Findel) Dittus was born July 28, 1941 in Logan County near Fredonia, ND. He grew up and attended rural school in the Fredonia area. Rueben moved to Kulm and work for area farmers in the Kulm and Fredonia areas. Reuben moved to Fargo where he worked at various businesses. Reuben enjoyed being a bell ringer for the Salvation Army during the holidays, which he did for many years. He loved sports and was an avid reader, spending many hours at the Fargo Library reading.

Reuben died Monday, January 7, 2013 at Sanford Hospital at Fargo, ND. He was 71 years old.

Reuben is survived by three sisters, Annetta Hauff, Hunter, ND; Alvina Otterstetter, Phoenix, AZ; Marion Purcell, Tulsa, OK; two brothers, Gerhard (Leona) Dittus, Lehr, ND and Roy Dittus, Portland, OR.
