The funeral for Raymond Kuhn, Jud, ND will be Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 11:00AM at the First Congregational Church at Kulm, ND. Visitation will be Monday from 2:00 to 7:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Kulm, ND. Burial will be at the Congregational Cemetery, Kulm, ND.

Raymond C. Kuhn, son of Albert and Emma (Heller) Kuhn was born November 11, 1931 at the Kuhn family farm rural Jud, ND where he lived and farmed all his life. Raymond grew up and attended rural school in the Jud area. Raymond farmed with his family until he entered the United States Army in March of 1954 and served until February of 1956.  Raymond married the love of his life Delores Dallmann June 5, 1958 at Zion Lutheran Church at Edgeley, ND. They farmed and ranched until 1996 when he semi retired. He continued to farm by helping Gordon Schlenker and later Wayne Schlenker retiring in 2009. Raymond was a member of the Lions Club at Jud and Gackle Wildlife Club, Gackle, ND. He was a member of the First Congregational Church in Kulm and Gackle. Raymond enjoyed playing cards. He was a man of few words. He loved his family enjoying his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Raymond died Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Sanford Health at Bismarck, ND. He was 82 years old.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Delores, Jud, ND; two sons, Keith (Lisa) Kuhn, Gackle, ND and Darcy Kuhn, Chesapeake, VA; five grandchildren, Amanda Kuhn & Kevin Anderson, Melissa & Trevor Marshall, Kyla & Owen Lubenow and Jonah & Janah Kuhn; four great-grandchildren, Kadence Kuhn, RyLee Kuhn, Brinley Marshall and Hudson Lubenow; one sister, Irene Sorenson, Minneapolis, MN; five brothers, Marvin (Arlys) Kuhn, Gackle, ND; Alvin (Lucille) Kuhn, McMinville, OR; Donald (Mona) Kuhn, Grand Forks, ND; Norman Kuhn, Staples, MN and Jim (Daphene) Kuhn, Portland, OR; several nieces, nephews and special friend, Johnny Gerdes; In-laws, Thelma (Wilbert) Kinzler, Kulm, ND; LaVerne (Richard) Henderson, Dickey, ND; Lorraine (John) Hesier, Billings, MT; LeRoy Dallmann; Robert Dallmann and Arnold Dallmann.
