Raymond Kaseman was born May 2 1934 in Rural McIntosh County to Albert J Kaseman and Anna Marie Martel. He grew up on a farm Near Venturia North Dakota with his 8 siblings. He Married Peuna Meidinger on November 22, 1953 and together they raised twelve children. He was a jack of all trades and took pride in whatever endeavor he took on. His favorites were the times he was out in the fresh air either tilling gardens, shelter belts or playing farmer for others. He also enjoyed collecting tractors of all kinds. His biggest pride and joy were his grand and great grandchildren. Even though his disease took a toll on him, he still enjoyed and wanted to hug and be close to the young ones. He would let them crawl around and sit on his lap all day long. He would allow them to take whichever tractor they wanted and let them play with them as long as they wanted when visiting, but also putting them back when going home. He liked sitting back in his chair, twiddling his thumbs, smiling and absorbing all the family visiting and talking about everything and anything but getting his say in as well.

Raymond died Friday, October 19, 2018 at the Wishek Home for the Aged.  He was 84 years old.

Sisters, Edna Meidinger of Wishek ND; Rose Odom of Wishek ND; Barb (Richard) MacDonald of Windsor CO; Marilyn (Jerome) Bettenhausen of Wishek ND; Nancy Just of Wishek ND; 31 grandchildren, 29 great- grandchildren, sister and brother in laws, aunts and uncles, many nieces and nephews.
