The funeral for Norma Mable Wentz , 94, Napoleon, North Dakota will be held Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Salem United Methodist Church, Napoleon, ND at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be held Wednesday, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home in Napoleon. Burial will be at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery at Mandan, ND.

Norma Johnson, daughter of John and Maren (Tveten) Johnson was born June 26, 1920 at Napoleon, ND. She graduated from Napoleon High School in 1939. Norma married Walter Wentz November 17, 1940 at Napoleon, ND. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, the Napoleon American Legion Auxiliary and the United Methodist women. Norma worked at the Logan County Courthouse for several years in the Auditor's Office. She was an avid reader, loved to bake and cook and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Norma died Monday, February 9, 2015 at the Napoleon Care Center. She was 94 years old.

Norma is survived by two daughters, Darla Adkisson, Santa Clara, CA and Sandy (Dennis) Kontra, Racine, WI; one son, Fred (Deb) Wentz, Napoleon, ND; seven grandchildren, Allison (Larry) Leslie, Eric Adkisson, Shayla (Tom) Moline, Gretchen (Brian) Nixon, Paul (Yemi) Kontra, Evan Wentz, and Sheena (Chad) Helmstetler; six great-grandchildren, Jenny, Erica, Oscar, Brana, Lisan and Declan; one brother, Ralph (Viola) Johnson, Napoleon, ND; one sister, Myrtle Olson, Norridge, IL; three sisters-in-law, Florence (Alfred) Schumacher, Adeline Siewert and Irene Reinhardt; and several nieces and nephews.
