Michelle Leigh Giesler, 36, of Kulm, ND was called home to our Lord on Monday, May 15 th , 2017.
Michelle was born on January 5 th , 1981 in Valley City, ND. She was confirmed at Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Fredonia where she grew up. She graduated from Kulm HS in 1999. She married her high school sweetheart, Brandon, on November 25, 2000 at Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Fredonia. They lived in Fort Walton Beach, Florida for a couple of years before moving back to ND.
Michelle attended NDSCS in Wahpeton where she obtained her degree in Liberal Arts and Dental Assisting. She worked as a Dental Assistant from 2001-2011. Her love for children brought forth the opening of her in home daycare – Michelle's Little Monkey's.
Michelle was a unique and caring person who touched the lives of all who knew her. She did not let cancer define the woman she was and continued to live her life to the fullest with love and laughter. She never turned down an invitation to celebrate, always lent a hand, and loved her family and friends like none other.
Michelle and Brandon are members of the Zion Lutheran Church in Kulm. She was a member of the Kulm Booster Club, the North Dakota Dental Assistants Association, Dental Assisting National Board, and also a member of the Kulm School Board. She was one that was always busy in one way or another, whether it was cooking, doing crafts, going to rummage sales, or spending time with her family and friends.
Michelle's family was her world. She will be forever missed by her loving husband, Brandon Giesler, her three handsome boys, Bradon (13), Benet (8), and Gage (4) all of Kulm, her parents, Lauren and Robin (Jacobson) Hehr, Fredonia, James and Lynda (Heidinger) Giesler, Kulm, sisters, Jennifer (Daniel) Lourens, Oakes, Beth (Phil Stephenson), Cresbard, SD, brother Ryan (Kayla) Hehr, sister in law Brooke (Drago) Ford, her nieces and nephews, Madison Wald, Marlize & Christopher Lourens, Jozelyn & Ian Ford, Payton Hehr, baby Stephenson, grandparents Arlene Hehr, Fredonia, Sharon & Don Bailey, NV, Vivian (Heidinger) Haffner, Kulm, Kathy (Russell) Jacobson, Kulm, and one godson, Carter Johnson, Kulm.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Russell Jacobson, Lester Hehr, Edwin Heidinger Sr., step Howard Haffner, Oscar & LaVern Giesler
