Michael Feist, 94, of Napoleon, ND, passed away March 2, 2022 at Sanford Health, Bismarck. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, March 7, 2022 at 10:30 AM at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Napoleon. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 6, 2022 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Napoleon. Burial will be held at the Burnstad Cemetery.

Mike was born May 27, 1927 to Joseph and Magdalena (Materi) Feist in Emmons County. He was raised on a farm in the Burnstad area, where he attended country school until the eighth grade. He remained on the family farm, where he farmed with his brother Alex for many years. During his retirement years he continued to live on the farm, eventually moving to Napoleon where he lived until his passing.

Mike enjoyed music especially playing the guitar and he had a deep passion for raising miniature horses.

Mike is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Alex and Edna Feist, Napoleon; sister-in-law, Eva Feist, Napoleon and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John (Regina) Feist, Ignatz (Rose) Feist, Paul Feist, George (Victoria) Feist and Joseph (Veronica) Feist; sisters, Elizabeth (Albert) Roehrich, Katherine (John) Dosch, Mary (Pete) Moser and Regarada (Frank) Fettig.
