Mavis Wolf, 93, of Napoleon, ND, died February 3, 2026, at CHI St. Alexius Hospital, Bismarck. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, February 9, 2026, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Napoleon. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place in the spring at the Napoleon Cemetery.
Mavis was born on September 15, 1932, to George and Anna (Martell) Rudolph. She was raised on the family farm east of Napoleon, and while attending country school she helped out on the farm.
Mavis was united in marriage to Anton Wolf on September 16, 1951, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Napoleon, where Mavis was a lifetime member. Mavis worked at The Napoleon Care Center for over 30 years, and volunteered there after retirement.
Mavis loved to play cards, make decorative hangers, listen to polka music and visit with family and friends. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy.
Mavis is survived by her children, Gerald Wolf, Bismarck, Brenda (Jim) Nelson, Bismarck, Schelly Lenz, Bismarck, Marla Saville, Bismarck and Cory (Tammy) Wolf, Lincoln; special niece, Linda (Charlie) Helmstetler; grandchildren, Melissa (Randy) Heaton, Chris Nelson, Ryan (Jenny) Saville, Brady (Melissa) Wolf, Samantha (Hannah) Wolf and Logan (Kasey) Wolf; step grandchildren, Allyssa Fischer, Hannah (Daniel) Zitzow and Reilly Fischer; great grandchildren, Charlee, Jack, Leah, Noah, Walker, Wylder and Annabelle; sister, Coleen (Chuck) Peck; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Viola Wolf and Marvin and Adeline Wolf; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Anton; parents, George and Anna Rudolph; son-in-law, Chuck Lenz; daughters-in-law, Bernice Wolf and Janet Wolf; brother, Melvin Rudolph; and sister Marlys (Melvin) Strom.
