Tillie married Christ J. Leier on September 30, 1957 in St. Anthony's Catholic Church. After 1994 Christ and Tillie moved to Napoleon and became active members of St. Phillip Neri Church. Tillie was a long time member of the Christian Mothers, Homemakers and the Golden Age Quilting Clubs. Her leadership was always quiet and unassuming.

In later years she always loved and looked forward to seeing her children, grandchildren and many, many other friends and relatives.
