The memorial services for Mary Lou Bruun, Bandera, TX formerly of Braddock, ND will be held Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Kintyre, North Dakota. A second service will be held on Saturday, August 3 at 1:00 PM at Sand Hill Lutheran Church in rural Climax, Minnesota. Burial will be at the Sand Hill Lutheran Cemetery, Climax, Minnesota.

Mary Bergerson was born January 19, 1931, in Crookston, Minnesota to Richard and Mayme (Johnston) Bergerson. She married Harley Bruun in Eldred, Minnesota on April 21, 1951. They lived in several places in MN and ND moving to Braddock, ND in 1988. Since 1996 they traveled in their camper and worked as "workcampers" in various places AZ, CA, MT, SD, and IA. Since 2008 they have spent their time in Bandera, TX.
Some of Mary's hobbies were reading, sewing and various types of needlework, including Swedish Weaving, which became gifts to each of her children and grandchildren. She is remembered for her love of flowers and plants. She loved the outdoors; camping and fishing. She enjoyed visiting with her many close friends, traveling and meeting new people.

Mary is survived by her husband, Harley, of 62 years, her children, Mark (Mary) Bruun, Braddock, ND, Doreen (Richard) Evenson of Gillette, WY, and Greg (Nita) Bruun of Oakdale, MN; 8 grandchildren, Matt Bruun, Luke Bruun, Dusty Evenson, Michelle (Bruun) Ross, Robin Evenson, Trisha Evenson, Eric Bruun and Nathan Bruun; 10 great grandchildren, Zane Evenson, Morgan Tidemann, Ana Ross, Ava Ross, Bevan Evenson, Raiden Evenson, Abby Ross, Reese Evenson, Carter Evenson and Mya Bruun; her sister, Shirley Ann Starner of St. Paul, MN.
