The funeral for Martin Johs, Napoleon, ND will be Monday, September 30, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Napoleon, ND. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Napoleon, ND. Burial will be at the St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery, rural Napoleon, ND.


Martin Johs, son of Andrew and Mary Ann (Schmidt) Johs was born December 12, 1949 at Napoleon, ND. He grew up and attended school at Napoleon. Martin farmed and worked at the Napoleon Livestock. Martin enjoyed playing cards, following Napoleon sports and fishing. Most recently he lived at the Terrace in Bismarck, ND.

Martin died Thursday, September 26, 2013 at The Terrace at Bismarck, ND. He was 63 years old.

Martin is survived by two sisters, Viola (Chris) Leier, Linton, ND and Sally (Jerry) Feist, Big Lake, MN; five brothers, Hilbert (Kathleen) Johs, Wayne, NE; Perry (Carol) Johs, Blaine, MN; Joe (Judy) Johs, Bismarck, ND; Al (Mary) Johs, Bismarck, ND and Myron Johs, Lisbon, ND.
