The funeral for Marjorie Busch, Kulm, ND will be Monday, May 31, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the First Congregational Church at Kulm, ND. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 PM to 7:30 PM with a prayer service at 7:30 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Kulm, ND. Burial will be at the Kulm Congregational Cemetery, Kulm, ND.

Marjorie Herrmann, daughter of Robert and Margaret (Nitschke) Herrmann was born June 27, 1928 on a farm 5 miles NE of Kulm, ND. Marjorie graduated from Kulm High School in 1946. She worked for the Kulm State Bank, where she met the love of her life, Ray Busch. They were married July 12, 1953 at Kulm, ND. Ray worked for the Soo Line Railroad as an agent. They lived in various locations, including Braddock, ND. When they started to combine Depots, Ray had to be a relief agent, bringing them back to Kulm. Marjorie worked once again for the Kulm State Bank until her retirement in 1991. Marjorie was a faithful member of the First Congregational Church, serving as Pianist, Church Secretary and a member of the Dorcas Society. She also gave piano lessons through the years. Marjorie was a devoted Christian wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed reading, music, playing board games and spending time with family and friends.

Marjorie passed away Thursday, May 27, 2010 at St. Alexius Hospital, Bismarck, ND. She was 81 years old.

Marjorie is survived by her husband, Ray, Kulm, ND; one daughter, Carol (Dave) Gackle, Kulm, ND; one son, Jim (Jill) Busch, Sheridan, WY; four grandchildren, Tarah (Jacob) Post, Fort Collins, CO; Shawna Gackle, Kulm, ND; Jason (Candice) Busch, Sheridan, WY; Justin Busch, Sheridan, WY and one great-granddaughter, Natalie Busch. She was preceded in death by her parents.
