The funeral for Marion Dora Rossman, 88, Fredonia, North Dakota will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, December 23, 2016 at Nazareth Congregational Church in Fredonia, ND. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 5:00 PM Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Dahlstrom Funeral Home in Kulm, ND. Burial will be at Nazareth Congregational Cemetery, Fredonia, ND.
Marion Dora Kleingartner, twin daughter of Edward and Pauline (Dittus) Kleingartner, was born May 7, 1928 near Fredonia, ND. Marion was raised on a farm northwest of Fredonia, ND and received her education at Haag #4 rural school. Marion was united in marriage to Roland Rossman on June 30, 1950 at Nazareth Congregational Church in Fredonia, ND. Together they had six children. Roland and Marion celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on June 30, 1975. Cooking and baking were among Marion's greatest joys, and she would always welcome visitors to stay for a German meal and angel food cake. Marion was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be truly missed by her family.
Marion died peacefully on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at St. Rose Care Center in LaMoure, ND.
Marion is survived by three daughters, Linda (Jeff) Weispfenning, twin girls, Laura (Randy) Geiszler, Lana (Roger) Schneider; three sons, Terry, Tom (Gail), Roger (Jodie); nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Katherina (Katie) Haag, Evangeline (Van) Spravzoff. Marion was preceded in death by her husband Roland, who died on January 6, 1982; her parents; one sister, Gertrude (Gertie) Mueller; three brothers, Theo (David), William, Walter.
