Marilyn Mae Holland daughter of Francis and Magdalene (Geiszler) Holland was born May 17, 1936 at Merricourt, ND. She grew up and attended school at Merricourt and graduated from Kulm High School in 1956. Marilyn married Albert Oberlander September 14, 1957 at Merricourt, ND. Marilyn was a wonderful wife and a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed gardening, reading and macramé.

Marilyn died Sunday, April 18, 2010 at the Wishek Community Hospital, Wishek, ND. She was 73 years old.

Marilyn is survived by her husband Albert, Kulm, ND; three daughters, Renee (John) Woehl, Windsor, ND; Tamera (Doug) Johnson, Elk River, MN; Patrice Zehowski, Zimmerman, MN; 4 grandchildren, Travis Woehl, Jamestown, ND; Amanda Combs, Jamestown, ND; Benjamin Zehowski, Zimmerman, MN; Kayla Zehowski, Zimmerman, MN; 3 great-grandchildren, Dominic and Tayte Combs, Jamestown, ND; Kase Woehl, Jamestown, ND; one sister, Eileen (Lawrence) Goehner, Spokane, WA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Magdaline. Family prefers memorials be given to the Kulm Ambulance Squad.
