The funeral for Lydia Gensburg, Napoleon, ND will be Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church at Napoleon, ND. Visitation will be Monday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Napoleon, ND. Burial will be Napoleon City Cemetery.


Lydia Feigert, daughter of Jacob and Katherine (Hottman) Feigert was born August 15, 1929 at Streeter, ND. Lydia was raised in Streeter, ND. Lydia married Otto Gensburg on October 29, 1952 at Jamestown, ND. They lived in Streeter and later moved to Napoleon, ND where Lydia resided the rest of her life. Lydia was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was always ready to show pictures of her family. Lydia loved listening to music and teaching her great grandchildren nursery rhymes. She loved doing search a word puzzles and chewing gum. Her specialty was making strudels for the entire family.

Lydia died Friday, February 26, 2010 at Med Center One at Bismarck, ND with her family by her side. She was 80 years old.

Lydia is survived by two sons, Ronald (Judy) Gensburg, Bismarck, ND; Michael (Marcy) Gensburg, Lincoln, ND; three daughters, Carol (Tom) Mullins, Yuma, AZ; Mary (Jerry) Engelhardt, Napoleon, ND; Cindy (Tony J.) Doll, Napoleon, ND; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and one brother, Robert (Lil) Feigert, Jamestown, ND. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and four sisters.
