Luella Anderson, 92, of Kulm, ND, passed away Friday, February 14, 2020 at Eventide Care Center, Jamestown, ND. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30am on Friday, February 21, 2020 at Kulm Assembly of God Church. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2020 from 5-7 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral home, Kulm, ND Burial will take place in the spring at the Assembly of God Cemetery, Kulm, ND.

Luella Mae Bjork was born November 10, 1927 and went to be with Jesus on February 14, 2020. She was born in Greeley County, Kansas, the fifth child of Charles William Bjork and Ellen Victoria (Berquist) Bjork. The family moved to Vancouver, Washington in 1936. Luella graduated from Vancouver High School in 1944.  She graduated from Northwest University in 1948. On June 21, 1952, Luella married Clarence E. Anderson in Portland, Oregon.  Following their marriage they made their home on the Anderson family farm five miles north of Kulm, ND, moving into Kulm, July 1991. Four children were born to this union, Carolyn, Daniel, Steven and Joel.  Patsy and Charles Bjork joined the family at ages 6 and 5.

Luella had a personal experience of salvation at age seven. She was a member of Kulm Assembly of God church.  Attending and working in the church was a joy in her life. She did what was needed at the time, teaching, directing the choir, speaking and serving.  She especially loved teaching various age groups in Sunday School and Vacation Bible School.  In 1983 Luella was elected Director of the North Dakota District Assemblies of God Women's Ministries.  She held this position until retiring in 1994. She entered Edgeley Manor in October 2017 and moved to Eventide in Jamestown on July 30, 2018.  She resided there until her death.

Luella is survived by two sons: Daniel (Rhonda) and their children Rochelle, Devin (Kim) and Dustin.  Steven (Sybil) and their children Samuel (Shanna), Seth (Kalin) and Simon. Foster son Charles Bjork (Sammy), and foster daughter Patsy Bjork and her children Sarah, Ian and Delaney.  Son in law Rodney Zimmerman (Melody) and children Annette (Derek) Yeager and Amanda (Chad) Berndt. Great grandchildren include Liam, Jackson, Maxwell, Audrey, Quinton, Braelyn, Rayna, Sawyer, Raven, and step great grandchildren Harper, Avery and Dalton.

She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence, son Joel and daughter Carolyn, her parents, three brothers Clifford, Edward, William and three sisters Doris, Wilma McDonnell and Emilene Carlson.
