The Celebration of Life service for Lloyd William Hildebrand, Kulm, ND will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Zion Lutheran Church in Kulm, ND.  There will be a Prayer service held Friday, May 10, 2019 at Dahlstrom Funeral Home in Kulm, ND.

Lloyd William Hildebrand son of Richard and Mathilda (Brauer) Hildebrand was born on September 11, 1931 at Kulm, ND and received his education at Kulm Public School and graduated from Kulm High School in 1949.  Lloyd work with his father on the family farming and dairy operation north of Kulm, ND for several years.  Following his father's retirement, Lloyd continued the farming operation until his retirement in the fall of 1993 at the age of 62.  He spent 25 winters at Sun Life Resort in Mesa, AZ, where he was very active, a leader in many activities and formed many close friendships.  Lloyd was an active member in the Zion Lutheran Church at Kulm, a long-time member of the Farmers Union, serving as county chairman for several years.  He was a charter member of the Kulm Ambulance Squad, serving for 23 years on the Norton Township Board.  He was the clerk of the Kulm School Board for several years.  Lloyd was also a member of the Kulm Rod and Gun Club.

Lloyd died Monday, March 18, 2019 at the Jamestown Medical Center in Jamestown, ND.  Lloyd was 87 years old.

Lloyd is survived by two brothers, Ardell Hildebrand, Fargo, ND, James (Delaine) Hildebrand, Pollock, SD; one sister, Joann (Fred) Johnson, Blaine, MN; he also has several nieces and nephews that he was very close to: Ella Leapalt, Tressa Muscha, Steve Hildebrand, Shanna Danielson, Jason Swick, Justin Swick, Jana Maltby and Jennifer Swick.  He also has 11 great nieces and nephews.  Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Mathilda (Brauer) Hildebrand.  Share memories and sign online guest book at www.dahlstromfuneralservice.com .  Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Kulm, ND entrusted with arrangements.
