The funeral for Leo Roehrich, Napoleon, ND will be Saturday, November 19, 2011 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church at 10:30 AM at Napoleon, ND. Visitation will be Friday from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Napoleon, ND. Burial will be at St. Philip Neri Catholic Cemetery, Napoleon, ND.


Leo Roehrich, son of Rochus and Barbara (Goldade) Roehrich was born October 20, 1922 on the family farm rural Kintyre, ND. He grew up and attended the Manheim Country School rural Kintrye, ND. Leo married Eva Paul on June 3, 1957 at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church at Flasher, ND. They farmed on the family farm until their retirement in 1985 and at that time moved into Napoleon, ND. Leo was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church while living on the farm and a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church at Napoleon, ND after moving to town. Leo loved fishing and gardening.


Leo died Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at the Napoleon Care Center, Napoleon, ND. He was 89 years old.

Leo is survived by his wife, Eva, Napoleon, ND; one daughter, Peggy (Dave) Anderson, Bismarck, ND; one brother, Michael (Sue) Roehrich, Camarillo, CA; four sisters, Joanne (Paul) Chmielewski, Crossville, TN; Elizabeth Sowada, St. Paul, MN; Katherine Roehrich, St. Paul, MN and Eva Keller, Moorhead, MN; one brother-in-law, Johnny Paul, Mitchell, SD; six sisters-in-law, Regina Roehrich, Bismarck, ND; Gwen Roehrich, Fargo, ND; Margaret Paul, Aurora, CO; Mary Ternes, Bismarck, ND; Sister Magdalena Paul, Milwaukee, WI; Margaret Walker, Anchorage, AK and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers; Tony, Nick, Father Andrew, Pius and Rochus; two sisters, Rosalia and Sister Armella.
