The funeral for Leo Noel, Lidgerwood, North Dakota will be Monday, July 8, 2013 at 10:30 AM at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Napoleon, ND. Visitation will be Monday from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the church. Burial will be at the Napoleon City Cemetery, Napoleon, ND.

Leo Noel, son of Matt and Lucy (Bachmeier) Noel was born June 8, 1943 at Bismarck, ND. Leo grew up and attended country school in the Linton, ND area. He also attended St. Anthony High School at Linton, ND. After his schooling Leo farmed with his family in the Linton area. Leo married Betty Tergesen July 17, 1976 at Steele, ND. They farmed until 1978 and then moved to Mandan, ND where Leo worked at the Power Plant in Beulah, ND until his retirement. In 2005 Leo moved to Lidgerwood, ND.

Leo died Thursday, July 4, 2013 at Sanford Health at Fargo, ND. He was 70 years old.


Leo is survived by his wife Betty, Napoleon, ND; one daughter, Betty Jean (Bud) Freshour, Stacey, MN; two grandchildren, Bud Jr. and Katie Freshour. He was preceded in death by his parents.
