The funeral for Lenora Rudolf, Wishek, ND will be Thursday, June 17, 2010 at 10:30 AM at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Wishek, ND. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home of Wishek, ND. Burial will be at St. Luke Lutheran Cemetery, Wishek, ND.

Lenora Weisz, daughter of Jacob and Paulina (Ketterling) Weisz was born January 30, 1918 at Lehr, ND one of 6 boys and 6 girls. She grew up and attended school and later worked for the Depot Agent in Lehr, ND. In the 30's Lenora joined her sister, Erna to work in Jamestown, ND as a house maid, working for 4 years. She met Ferdinand Rudolf while working and they were married April 20, 1941 at Lehr, ND. They lived on the Rudolf farm until 1975 when they retired from farming and built a home in Wishek. Lenora was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church at Wishek, ND. She taught Sunday school at St. Johns Church for 14 years while living on the farm and in town. Lenora was a chair member of Good Will Ambassadors, Hospital Auxiliary. She was a faithful quilter at St. Luke's and she stitched many quilts for her family and her church. Lenora loved to read, was a regular visitor to the Library until 2002 when her eyesight started to fail. Lenora and Ferdie lived a good and blessed life. They enjoyed yearly trips to 9 states where sisters and brothers lived and many other trips to places of interest. Lenora enjoyed cooking family favorites such as Strudels, Kuchen, Cheese Buttons and Fleischkuechle. She enjoyed Bridge Club, playing cards and music. Needless to say Lenora loved her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Lenora died Friday, June 11, 2010 at the Wishek Community Hospital, Wishek, ND. She was 92 years old.

Lenora is survived by her husband, Ferdinand, Wishek, ND; one daughter, Connie (Ted) Grosz, Fargo, ND; one son, Gene (Debbie) Rudolf, Wishek, ND; six grandchildren, Stacey (Farrell) Fetzer; Melisa Rudolf; Michael Rudolf; Jean (Tim) Johnson; Kay (Doug) Wigtil; Bob (Deb) Grosz; ten great-grandchildren, Nevin Fetzer, Javen Entzi, Ellie Rudolf, Abby (Zach) Schnedler, Isaac Johnson, Nick Wigtil, Rochelle Wigtil, Jackie, Tony and Alex Grosz.
