LeMar Kinzler, 92, Kulm, ND, passed away August 30, 2023 at Prince of Peace Care Center, Ellendale, ND. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at Zion Lutheran Church, Kulm. Visitation will be held one hour to the service at the church. Burial will be held at Hillside Cemetery, Kulm.

LeMar was born May 25, 1931, on the family farm seven miles northwest of Kulm, ND, the son of Martin and Lydia (Rath) Kinzler. He was baptized in Fredonia, ND and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church, Kulm, ND.

LeMar was raised on the farm and attended the Norden #3 school through the 8th grade. He then went on to farm with his father and brother Duane. After his father retired LeMar and Duane took over the farm until retiring in 1996. They moved to Kulm in 2001. While living in Kulm he loved to take walks around town and visit people. They moved to Ellendale, ND in June of 2019 to live in the Evergreen Place. While living there LeMar loved putting together jigsaw puzzles that he would show to people who came to visit.

LeMar was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Kulm. He enjoyed and took great pride in raising cattle. He and his brother Duane were volunteers at the Prince of Peace Care Center for 15 years while their mother was a resident there and after her passing.

LeMar is survived by his; niece, Karen (Donald) Carlson, Edgeley, ND; nephew, Kenneth Ost, Jud, ND; great-nephews, David (Mary) Carlson and Dustin Carlson, Edgeley, ND, Joshua Ost, Jamestown, ND and Jeremiah Ost, St Cloud, MN; and his great-great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Duane; two sisters, LuElla (Clarence) Ost and Darlene Kinzler; and one nephew, Terry Ost.
