Leanne Mueller, 61, of Kulm, ND, loving wife, mother, grandma, and friend received her angel wings on Thursday, September 10, 2026, in Mandan, ND. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church in Kulm, ND. A livestream of Leanne's service will be available on the funeral home website.

Leanne Sylvia Strickland was born on August 9th, 1965 to Marjorie Strickland and William ‘Bill’ Day. She grew up in Tucson, Arizona and graduated high school in 1983. She lived and raised her 3 children in Arizona and California before moving to North Dakota in the summer of 1998. There she met Clinten Mueller of Kulm, ND. They married on February 8, 2002. Together they continued to live a beautiful 28 years together before her passing.

Leanne was a very hard worker and put her best foot forward at all the positions she held over the years. Most notably, Fargo Assembly Company of Lehr and Gackle Care Center. Her most recent work was at the Gackle Care Center. She worked there as a caregiver and you could tell she absolutely loved helping the residents and that it brought her great joy. Leanne was a very dependable worker and co-workers knew they could count on her no matter what.

Leanne enjoyed doing diamond art projects and watching various sports including tennis, basketball, football, and NASCAR. Leanne also enjoyed reading many books. She instilled the love of reading to her daughter and granddaughter. Leanne loved spending time with her family and friends but most of all her grandchildren. She loved her grandchildren very much!

Leanne was an avid animal lover. She enjoyed being surrounded by pets, especially dogs. Everyone knew Leanne held a special place in her heart for dogs. Friends and family knew that they could count on her to provide a good loving home for a pet in need.

Leanne will be forever missed by all who knew and loved her.

Leanne is survived by her husband, Clinten; her son Steven Mueller; her daughter, Sylvia (Daniel) Malone; her grandchildren, Alex Mueller, Amelia Malone, and Barrett Malone; her mother-in-law, Jane Mueller; her sister-in-law, Crystal Mueller (California); her mother, Marjorie Strickland (Arizona); her sisters, Lois (Nevada) and Donna (Arizona); and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Leanne was preceded in death by her son, Alex Strickland; her father, William Day; her father-in-law, Norman Mueller; and her nephew, Kodie Dunlap.
