The funeral for Lawrence J. Moch, 73, Kintyre, North Dakota will be held Friday, April 15, 2016 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church at 10:30 AM at Napoleon, ND. Visitation will be held Thursday from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home in Napoleon, ND. Burial will be at St. Philip Neri Catholic Cemetery in Napoleon, ND.
Lawrence son of Sigfred and Barbara (Fischer) Moch was born May 23, 1942 at Kintyre, ND. He grew up and attended grade school in Kintyre, ND and graduated from Napoleon High School in 1960. Lawrence joined the US Air Force and was stationed in Germany for 4 years as a Radar Control Specialist. After his discharge from the Air Force he worked on a dairy farm in the Phoenix area and other various farming operations in the area before returning home to the Kintyre area to farm with his father and Sigfred Jr. Lawrence retired in 2005 from farming. The family farm was his pride and joy. Lawrence enjoyed restoring old tractors, farm auctions and finding arrowheads as he loved the outdoors. He could fix anything. Lawrence always loved to hear about how the family was doing. Lawrence was a member of the St. Philip Neri Catholic Church at Napoleon, ND. Lawrence entered the Napoleon Care Center in 2012.
Lawrence died Monday, April 11, 2016 at St. Alexius Medical Center, Bismarck, ND. He was 73 years old.
Lawrence is survived by his wife, Ann, Kintyre, ND; two sons, Gary Lawrence (Kristi) Moch, Kintyre, ND and Joshua Joseph (Dawn) Moch, Napoleon, ND; three daughters, Patricia Ann Moch, Breckenridge, MN; Jessica Lynn (Eric) Schumacher, Lincoln, ND and Natalie Marie (Dennis) Hoheisel, Meridian, MS; eleven grandchildren, Adrianna (Sawyer) Boman, Amelia, James, Michael Moch, Ethan and Malachi Schumacher, Avery and Autumn Moch, Tanyon, Urijah and Dakota Marie Hoheisel; three sisters, Alvera Selheim, Mandan, ND, JoAnn (Patrick) Krebsbach and Mercedes Kleppe, Mandan, ND. He was preceded in death by one infant child, one grandson Joseph Moch, parents Sigfred and Barbara and two brothers Sigfred Jr. and Leonard.
