Graveside service will be held at the Kulm Congregational Cemetery, Kulm, ND.
Larry H. Gackle, age 80 of Mineola, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at his home. Larry was born in Kulm, ND on April 8, 1937 to the late Gottlieb Gackle, Jr. and Elsie Uttecht Gackle. He was retired from the Minyards Grocery Store Company where he worked in pest control. Larry was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mineola, where he was an active member of the Methodists Men group, as well as being a longtime member of the Kiwanis's. He is preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, LeRoy Gackle, Russell Gackle, Dean Gackle.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 57 years, Mrs. Betty Ann (Smedshammer) Gackle of Mineola; four sons, Jeffrey Gackle and wife Cindy of Grand Prairie, TX, Joel Gackle and wife Marcia of Lewisville, TX, Anthony Gackle and wife Marcia of Flowermound, TX, Jason Gackle and wife Kerstin of Leipzig, Germany; one daughter, Jenelle Reynolds and husband Gordon of Tyler; sister, Dorothy Nill of Wischek, ND; eight grandchildren; Jacob and wife Melanie Gackle, Christy Gackle, Mike Hehr, Alicia Garcia and husband Ryan, Katelyn Rogers and husband Ryan, Jeremy Gackle, Katja Gackle, Lars Gackle, and one great-grandchild, Olivia Arroyo.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola, Larry will return to Kulm, ND for burial in Kulm Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First United Methodist Church of Mineola: 612 N. Newsom, Mineola, Texas 75773
