Keith Draeger, 72, of Dawson, ND, passed away September 14, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, September 23, 2022, at Dawson City Hall, with the Reverend Jacob DeBoer officiating. Burial will take place at the Dawson Cemetery immediately following the service. There will be a reception to follow at Lakeside Bar and Grill 4013 Hwy 3, Dawson, ND. Keith was born August 14, 1950 in Bismarck, ND to Dwain and Elsie (Spitzer) Draeger. He graduated from Napoleon High School. Throughout his life he worked various jobs all over the United States. He eventually took over the Big D at Lake Isabel from his parents, where he owned and operated it for 30 years selling it in 2014. Keith married Marge Boyd on August 19, 1985 and he later married Luella Meier on November 24, 2014.

Keith enjoyed restoring furniture and homes and in his spare time he enjoyed attending auction sales and collecting antiques. His antique collection was even chosen to be one the Antique Roadshow TV series. He also enjoyed traveling and going to casinos.

He was a member of the Dawson Park Board, Dawson Area Development and the Planning and Zoning Commission. He served as clerk/treasure of the Sibley Township for over 30 years. He was also a part of the Rural Leadership Program where he created and built the Dawson Information Center.

Keith is survived by his wife, Luella, Dawson; stepsons, Daryl (Carmen) Brahos, Fargo and Scott (Jennifer) Brahos, Mandan; step-grandchildren, Kyren, Macy, Mallory and Micken Brahos; brothers, Terry and Darrell Draeger; and many in-laws and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dwain and Elsie Draeger.
