The funeral for Kaitlyn Elizabeth Gruneich, 6, Napoleon, ND will be Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church at Napoleon, ND. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church.

Kaitlyn daughter of Anthony and Heather (Cowan) Gruneich was born February 23, 2005 at Stockton, CA. The family moved to Napoleon in 2006. Kaitlyn attended kindergarten at Napoleon Public School. She was a very giving and caring girl, beautiful smile and loved "momming" her little brothers. She loved music and dancing. Kaitlyn was known as (Katie Bug) and or (Our Little Rock Star). Kaitlyn loved Jesus. She gave the "Gift of Life" by being an organ donor.

Kaitlyn died Monday, March 14, 2011 at Med Center One at Bismarck, ND. She was 6 years old.

Kaitlyn is survived by her parents, Anthony and Heather Gruneich, Napoleon, ND; two brothers, Anthony Michael Jr. and Tyson Louis Gruneich, Napoleon, ND; grandparents, Teresa Cowan, Napoleon, ND; Richard Cowan, Puyallup, WA; Carol Gruneich, Lodi, CA; Mike Gruneich, Napoleon, ND; great-grandparents, Arlan Johnson, Stockton, CA; Robert and Lynn Cowan, West Point, CA; Linda Froberg, Lodi, CA.
