The funeral for John Doll, 78, Napoleon, ND will be Monday, July 25, 2011 at 3:00 PM at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church at Napoleon, ND. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM with a prayer service at 5:00 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Napoleon, ND. Burial will be at St. Philip Neri Catholic Cemetery, Napoleon, ND.


John Doll son of George and Katherine (Wald) Doll was born February 13, 1933 at Kintyre, ND. He grew up and attended rural school and two years at Napoleon High School. John married Theresia Schmidt on September 2, 1957 at Napoleon, ND. They farmed on the Doll family farm and in 2006 they retired from farming. John was a member and trustee of the St. Boniface Church and a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. He was a member of the Napoleon Fire Department, worked for the ASCS office and City of Napoleon. Farming was John's life. He enjoyed his family and fishing.

John died Friday, July 22, 2011 at St. Alexius Medical Center at Bismarck, ND. He was 78 years old.

John is survived by his wife, Theresia, Napoleon, ND; four sons; Duane (Gail) Doll, Jamestown, ND; Marvin (Karen) Doll, Elgin, ND; Jim (Viann) Doll, Bismarck, ND; Paul (Sherri) Doll, Hazen, ND; two daughters, Karen (Les) Christensen, Wishek, ND; Sharon (Ben) Jacob, Cooperstown, ND; one brother, Matt Doll, Moorhead, MN; two sisters, Katie (Alex) Bosch, Bismarck, ND; Barbara Bosch, Bismarck, ND; 19 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
