Joey Brunner, 62, of Napoleon, ND, passed away March 11, 2024. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Feist Funeral Home, Napoleon. Burial will be held at St. Philip Neri Cemetery, Napoleon.

Joey William Brunner was born February 25, 1962 in Wishek, ND to James and Irene (Roehrich) Brunner. He attended farm school until the second grade and then Napoleon High School, graduating in 1980. He continued to live on the farm where he farmed on his own and with his dad. Joey also worked for Napoleon Livestock for 20 years. In 1982 Joey married Carol Reuer, together they went into the dairy business until 2003. They had two children, William John in 1985 and Leann Marie in1990. In 2011 Joey became a grandfather when Avery Jade was born and again in 2015 when Kinley Jae was born and his third granddaughter Liberty Lynn. Grandpa's little angels, he called them. He enjoyed taking his grandchildren four wheeling, horseback riding and checking cows.

Joey lived on the family farm until his death, due to cancer. He leaves behind his wife Carol; his children, William and Leann; grandchildren, Avery, Kinley and Liberty; three sisters, Irene Skramstad, Joan Brunner and Carol Kautz; two brothers, Richard (Carolyn) Brunner and Thomas Brunner and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and parents; one brother David Brunner; and one sister-in-law, Terri Brunner.
