Obituary

The memorial service for Jerold Walth, Wishek, ND will be Friday, July 3, 2015 at 10:00 AM at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Wishek, ND. Visitation will be held Thursday from 3:00 to 7:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Wishek, ND. Burial will be at St. Luke Lutheran Cemetery, Wishek, ND.
Jerold Walth son of Wilbert and Lillian (Nagel) Walth was born August 13, 1948 at Eureka, SD. The family moved to the Minot, ND area where Jerold attended school. Jerold attended trade school in Bismarck. Jerold married Joan Eiseman on October 31, 1968 at Fargo, ND. They moved to Wishek where he did carpenter work. Jerry did many odd jobs, helping whoever was in need. He was employed at Wishek Cheese. He owned and operated the cement plant and Topper Manufacturing Company. He worked at the Wishek Hospital and also served the community as an EMT for many years. He also worked for Border States doing road construction from 1995 to 2000 and Anderson Western from 2000 to the present time as a foreman, mechanic and truck driver. Jerold loved his grandchildren always saying hug or bug to them. He could fix anything.
Jerold died Monday, June 29, 2015 at Harrold, SD. He was 66 years old.
Jerold is survived by his wife, Joan, Wishek, ND; children, Jocelyn (Doug) Ruff, Wishek, ND; Jeffrey (Amanda) Walth, Wishek, ND; Jolene (Zack Schroeder) Lautt, Gwinner, ND; Jeremy (Tanya) Walth, Gwinner, ND; Jordan (Rachel) Walth, Wishek, ND; 19 grandchildren, Sami, Devon, Alex, Tristan, Rylan, Kaitlan, Sebastian, Hunter, Lucas, Ellie, Max, Brady, Lilly, Paige, Aiden, Gage, MiKenna, Isabelle and Sara; two great-grandchildren, Jace and Emma; five brothers, Charles (Margo Blinsky) Walth, Wishek, ND; David (Patty) Walth, West Fargo, ND; Steve Walth, Granville, ND; Gordon Walth, Fargo, ND and Daniel Walth, Washington DC; one sister, Pamela Anderson, Minot, ND.
