The funeral for Jane V. Silbernagel, Napoleon, ND will be held Friday, November 27, 2015 at 10:30 AM at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Napoleon, ND. Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at the St. Philip Catholic Church, Napoleon, ND. Burial will be at St. Philip Neri Catholic Cemetery, Napoleon, ND.

Jane Veronica Vetter, daughter of August and Loretta (Braun) Vetter was born December 10, 1955 at Linton, ND. She grew up and attended St. Michael Country school and finished her schooling in Linton, ND graduating in 1974 and moved to Napoleon where she worked. Jane married Steve Silbernagel on November 25, 1977 in Linton, ND. They farmed and ranched north of Napoleon. Jane was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church and was a member of the MOMS group. Jane had a way of brightening any room she walked into.  She always had a positive outlook on life and was willing to handle anything that was thrown her way with such grace.  She accepted anyone she met for who they were and made anyone she came in contact with feel special. She was so full of life and lived to take care of her husband, Steve.  Family was the most important thing to Jane and there was never a day that went by that she didn't show them. She taught them valuable lessons about life and was a great example of her faith. Jane will be greatly missed by all.

Jane died Sunday, November 22, 2015 at St. Alexius Medical Center in Bismarck, ND. She was 59 years old.

Jane is survived by her husband, Steve, Napoleon, ND; one son, Michael (Jenny) Silbernagel, Lincoln, ND; two daughters, Randee (Philip) Halvorson, Bismarck, ND and Abby (Luke) Morken, Jamestown, ND; eight brothers, Leland (MaryAnn) Vetter, Linton, ND; Michael (Julie) Vetter, Minot, ND; Dan (Marie) Vetter, Linton, ND; Richard (Shar) Vetter, Fargo, ND; Ron (Kim) Vetter, Wilmington, NC; Greg (Pam) Vetter, Bismarck, ND; Paul (Diane) Vetter, Bismarck, ND; Fr. Austin Vetter, Rome, Italy; three sisters, Connie (Jeff) Gross, Bismarck, ND; Vivian (Larry) Frohlich, Bismarck, ND and Karen (Gary) Miller, Bismarck., ND; three grandsons, Hunter, Weston, Carter and one on the way.
