The memorial service for James B. Sperling, Lehr, ND will be held Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home in Wishek, ND. There will be a celebration of James' life following services at the Lehr Community center.

James Sperling, son of Elmer and Norma (Eisenbies) Sperling was born September 13, 1951 at Bismarck, ND. He grew up and attended school in the Lehr area graduating from Lehr High School. James worked with his father on the family farm and the family business. He also drove truck in the Lehr area. James was united in marriage to Cindy Kungel. They made their home in Lehr, ND until 1992 when they parted ways. James spent the last 9 years of life with his best friend and caregiver, Barbara Moe. James was a very kind hearted, caring and generous person. He loved to laugh and make others around him laugh. He helped us all to enjoy the simple things in life. He will be missed by many.

James died Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Sanford Heath at Bismarck, ND. He was 61 years old.

James is survived by two sons, Dustin (Tressa) Sperling, Dickinson, ND and Tyler (Erika Fryslie) Sperling, Fargo, ND.; one grandson, Keller Sperling, Dickinson, ND; parents, Elmer and Norma Sperling, Lehr, ND; two brothers, Craig (Lori) Sperling, Wishek, ND and Tom (Nancy) Sperling, Mandan, ND.
