The funeral for Isadore Wald of Kintyre, ND will be Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 10:30 AM at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church at Napoleon, ND. Visitation will be Monday from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Napoleon, ND. Burial will be at St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery, Kintyre, ND.


Isadore Wald, son of Stanley M. and Helen (Bosch) Wald was born August 7, 1947 at rural Napoleon, ND. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Anthony Church south of Napoleon, ND. Isadore attended rural school for eight years. In 1965 he graduated from St. Anthony High School, Linton, ND. Isadore married Margaret Wangler on April 8, 1972 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, rural Kintyre. They made their home on Isadore's parent's farm sixteen and a half miles southwest of Napoleon, where they own and operate a grain and livestock farm. Isadore served six years in the ND National Guard and served on the Farm Bureau Board of Directors at Napoleon for four years. He held two years of office as secretary on the Board of Trustees at St. Boniface Church. He has been a Third Degree member of the St. Lawrence K of C Council (4496).

Isadore died Thursday, January 16, 2014 at his home. He was 66 years old.

Isadore is survived by his wife, Margaret, Kintyre, ND; three daughters, Michele (Dean) Miller, Waconia, MN; Renae (Duane) Moch, Mandan, ND and Sheila (Aaron) Renner, Bismarck, ND; two sons, Glen (Heather) Wald, Bismarck, ND and Steven (Brandi) Wald, Mandan, ND; nine grandchildren; his mother, Helen Wald, Bismarck, ND; two sisters, Sister Siena Wald, Turlock, CA and Luella (Jack) Klein, Linton, ND.
