The funeral for Irene Koepplin, Wishek, ND will be Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 10:30 am at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Wishek, ND. Burial will be at St. Luke Lutheran Cemetery, Wishek, ND. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Wishek, ND  Burial will be at St. Luke Lutheran Cemetery, Wishek, ND.

Irene Blendina Just was born February 14, 1922 to August and Albina (Ketterling) Just on the family farm 4 miles north of Wishek, ND. Irene married Edgar Koepplin of Lehr, ND on October 20, 1946. They moved to the family farm 4 miles south of Lehr, ND. Here they farmed together for 50 plus years. Edgar passed away in January of 2004. Irene is a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church at Wishek.

Irene died Saturday, April 8, 2017 at the Wishek Living Center, Wishek, ND. She was 95 years old.

Irene is survived by her daughter, Charlene A. (James) Wiest, Minneapolis, MN and her son, Charles E. (Lori Anderson) Koepplin, Minneapolis, MN; grandchildren, Heather (Samuel) Charles, Maui, HI, step great-grandchild, Aleeya Charles, Allison (Barry) Borell, Maui, HI, Kara Koepplin, Minneapolis, MN and Kailey Koepplin, Minneapolis, MN; her sister, Lorraine Bauer, Wishek, ND and George Just, Wishek, ND. She was preceded in death by her husband Edgar, her parents, one sister, Maggie Herr, two brothers, Gerhart Just and Rueben Just and two brothers-in-law, Elroy Bauer and Loren Herr.  In lieu of flowers please send memorials to the Wishek Living Center, Wishek, ND.
